Studying at Erasmus University was a valuable experience. I really liked the international environment—students from all over the world made discussions diverse and engaging. The professors are very knowledgeable, and the courses are structured in a way that connects theory with practical applications.

What I liked the most was the focus on group projects and real-life case studies, which prepared me for the professional world. On the downside, the workload can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when balancing multiple deadlines at once.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Erasmus to students who are motivated and want to study in a highly international, academically strong environment.

A great program that covers all business related aspects, such as accounting, finance, HR, operations management and international business in general, while also allowing freedom to choose your own courses later on in the program.

I have done my Masters from RSM in 2018. My specialization was in International Management/CEMS. The experience was conducive and wholesome. It had a diverse batch and offered an exchange semester in one of the partner schools. RSM also organized several credited seminars and networking events. However, there were certain things that they can improve on. For instance, there was less autonomy on the selection of electives. Most of the electives were not available for a CEMS schedule. Apart from that, administrative representatives and instructors were extremely cooperative.

I have been part of the school for an exchange program but have experienced the true student experience. The school has a diverse batch and it was easy to fit in. There were several school organizations to take part in and most of the professors encouraged us to be part of them. The highlight for me was the organizational step-up and open-door policy in the admin offices. Being an exchange student, most of our processes are stuck there but I faced no issue in getting them resolved. The city is quite vibrant as well and offered a good life there.

I was there on exchange as part of my degree, CEMS Masters in International Management. Quality of education is definitely the highlight of the school since you would be taught by well-informed teachers. There was no language barrier since everyone spoke English in school and even around the city. The entire city is very welcoming towards students and foreign delegates. A lot of companies have their head-offices in Rotterdam which makes it quite viable from career prospects as well. Living conditions on the school dorms are quite acceptable plus everything is at walking distance.

The Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is of an acceptable level. The job of the university is mainly to organise examination facilities together with course material. I do not want to forget the professors working here – they are great and the university has selected excellent tutors. As the title of the review says, I think there is still room for improvement. Communication is poor, sometimes it is unclear what is going to happen in the course. Last day exam announcement and changes in lecture rooms are nothing new at this university. The course overall is good, however, if communication were bettered it would be excellent.

The programme is quite interesting but the programme does not take into consideration people from other fields of study. For example, students without coding background are subjected to take courses on it without previous knowledge which is not fair. Another is that of statistics which I noticed that at least 65 per cent of students wanted to opt out but these courses are mandatory.

I am doing my Bachelors in the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and it has been exactly like I expected it to be, in the introduction days I was able to have a good idea what my next years would be like. I had a very first good impression and I would definitely recommend it for a friend, it’s for sure a life-changing experience. One of the things that attracted me the most in the Uni is the opportunity to go on exchange for 5 months during the program, in many different countries all around Europe. The campus is very big and has a very modern aspect to it, while my erasmus university in Lisbon (Católica) has a very old and small campus. I have had courses like Marketing, Finance and Entrepreneurship, and they were very interesting and applied to the real market. They have lots of student associations and clubs, so it’s really easy to get to know new people. The university offers some kind of support but it is mostly down to your social skills whether you are able to find accommodation, and it’s also not so cheap. The night life is not so great, but there are always parties at the student houses. And further advice for future students would be to save some money before coming to Rotterdam, it is expensive!

Good university, maybe focuses a little bit too much on their international students compared to their students from The Netherlands. Overall good professors but they accept too many students for business administration so the professors can’t really handle it.
