As an international student studying at Leiden University, I’ve had a wonderful experience so far. The advisors are very supportive, and the resources available to students are excellent. The registration process has been smooth and hassle-free. Overall, I’m really happy with my choice to study at Leiden University and wouldn’t change anything about my experience thus far.

Great university overall, great teachers, lots of choices. Help with studying abroad could be better and the university should be focussing more on diversity, because there is too little diversity among the students. (Uni is basically too white)

This university is located in a city of tradition, freedom, and knowledge. At the university you get the chance to get expertise in a broad range of topics, for which a big amount of information is accessible. The quality of studies differs, however, which is why it is important to learn from experiences of current students. The focus on statistics and pragmatic learning, instead of a focus on scientific alpha knowledge, can be seen as both a good and a bad development.
