I am studying economics and business economics (which is 1 single study) at Erasmus. You get a lot of courses on economic principles (of course), but also on mathematics and statistics, and I think this is where the programme really shines. Your mathematical skills really improve, and your statistical skills do, too. Focus is on methods used to prove causality (experiments, but also alternative methods).
The university is a bit impersonal, though. I know few of my lecturers and fellow students by name, which I think is a shame.
