The University of Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful universities in the world. It is not only the environment that makes it beautiful. Its specialty is that it contains everything that a student really needs: university knowledge program structure, immersive courses, professors who bring the subject matter to life, guest staff, etc. I have gained a lot from this university. I also invite my friends to come and gain experience in this university.

Let’s start by stating that the quality of all Dutch universities is essentially the same. This response clarifies that in some detail: What is the top university in the Netherlands, according to The ranking? However, this does not imply that there are no differences between the computer science programs offered by the various colleges. Because all institutions are excellent, picking one has nothing to do with academic merit and everything to do with personal preferences.

With that said, I can explain why, for the program itself, I would decide against studying computer science at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam (VU).
