There are some things that you just need to experience one on one early in your school year to prepare you for later on in the school year. I like that approach because you get familiar with hostile environments quicker when it’s done that way. The one on one experience with patients for example, seeing how they respond to your inexperience will definitely to some degree boost your self esteem once you’re experienced. I like that this University shares my point of view

Recently, I have graduated in Applied Psychology (BCs) at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and I have to say that I am very glad I have gained this experience. The teachers have always supported me in the assignments. The study was designed in a way to give us as many experiences with the professional world as possible. From the first year on I have done internships and they gave me several group or individual assignments with real-life companies. While my experience has been very good at my home university, I have given 4 stars due to the experience when I did the last year of my studies abroad. I think the contact with the university was not very well constructed. My mentor has never tried to come in contact with me and when I tried to come in contact with the mentor, he said he was busy. I truly believe it is important to still feel connected with your home university when you study a year abroad.

The university itself is beautiful and the location is very central. I have always loved going to the university, because of the open working spaces and the beautiful views. Without the abroad experience, I would have given it a 5 stars.
