There is ASVZ, which offers a wide variety of sports for free to any student, theres VSETH, the student association that makes sure that the work life balance stays in tact and helps you with all your problems, and their “sub” associations that offer specific help and events depending on your field of studies.

The university offers a very high quality education. However, this comes with a very high workload as student.
The Master level courses always have a practical aspect to them, too, thus also giving some hands on experience.
There is a wide variety of very active student associations that make sure you have great opportunities for affordable pricing. From fun over party to company connections, they offer everything.

ETHZ is a world class university with a highly respected degree. However, getting it requires a lot of work and you cannot enjoy life as much as at other universities.
A unique thing to ETH’s student life is the big and very active student associations that organise many events to all sorts of topics.
Overall, if you are ready for the high workload, go for ETH.

Generally great university, but infrastructure is reaching it’s capacity in many areas, which is further promoted by forcing students to visit the lectures in person by abandoning livestreams for many courses.
