ETH Zürich attracts brilliant minds from all across the planet and I noticed very soon. I moved in last year and it’s a very demanding, time-consuming degree where you have to show you can keep up with everyone else. However, students here know how to party on Tuesdays or Thursdays (since most Swiss visit their families on the weekends) and show up very motivated in class the next morning. There’s a tough and serious study environment but you still find people everywhere reaching out and working together. It’s about keeping the good moments and experiences. Hard work pays off and Switzerland’s research is world-leading!
