What I love most about my university is its environment and surroundings. As you may know, Switzerland is known for its breathtaking scenery, and I truly enjoy the vibes here. The weather and landscape make me feel happy every day, and I look forward to waking up and going to class. Additionally, I appreciate how the professors combine theoretical knowledge with insights from their personal professional experiences. On the downside, one aspect I dislike is the long duration of certain classes, especially the ones that last 5-6 hours a day. When it comes to accounting, for example, it can feel overwhelming, especially with all the complex math. My brain often feels overloaded!

He was rude ! and very snappy! I’m very ashamed that I went to this school and upon coming back I experienced the horror that other students once talked about a very rude student working at the desk. You’d think we’re taught to meet people with kindness being a hospitality school! Shame on you
View moreIf I would have the chance to choose one more time where I would like to do my studies, I would keep choosing all over again BHMS. I had an absolutely amazing time while studying at this university. It s amazing the great opportunities I was offered while being a student, opportunities for different international projects, several internships all over the world and it’s impressive how many cultures I could meet. There are thousands of students from all parts of the world and it was such a great experience to get to know and understand better different mentalities, different traditions and cultures. Moreover, the classes were beyond all expectations. The lecturers are always there for you!! So much interaction and participation happening during the classes! What I love the most was that every single theoretical fact would come with a practical example from reality, from the working scene/ market. If there’s anything not clear enough, they would always take time for you to explain it as many times as needed! I had such a good relationship with all of them!
This school helped me a lot to get myself integrated in Luzern and during my internships around Switzerland I managed to create my networking, being always in touch with locals and several people from gastro industry. Hence, right after I finished my studies, together with my sister I started up my own restaurant that is currently operating day by day, getting better and better.
A BIG thank you to the whole BHMS Team that made my student life in Switzerland unforgettable and that opened several doors for my future career!
I will always go back to BHMS, now unfortunately only for visiting them, however I would love to be a student there again!
My reason for choosing this school was the Swiss internships. I was able to do my internship at Michelin star restaurants which were my childhood goal. That opened a lot of doors for me since.
The lecturers were good, the facilities on the campus were also good and the international environment is a highlight.
I would recommend anyone who wants to study in Switzerland though, to have an open mind to learn about a new culture. Being open to learning German or French really helps also. Also, have a plan and know what you want to get out of the experience.
View moreI would give 0 stars if possible. International students whoever is thinking of studying here, do know that half of the promises they make are fake, the worst staff. They don’t care about students, just want to generate revenue for themselves. I would give 0 stars if possible. I was supposed to study for 3 years but left my studies after 2 years due to miserable conditions. I would have left after 1 year, but they somehow tricked me into paying the second years fees by talking about fees increment. I spent so much of my fortune on this school, gained nothing, just a swiss higher diploma tag. The school promised the first job but didn’t do anything about it. It shouldn’t be a hospitality school but a marketing one as that’s the only thing they are good at.
