Mälardalen University is honestly a great place to study. The campus has a really welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and stay motivated. The staff and teachers here are genuinely helpful and approachable they don’t just teach; they really care about helping us succeed. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed support, there’s always been someone willing to take the time to help. It’s not just about academics; it feels like they’re invested in us as people. Overall, I think Mälardalen University is a solid choice for anyone looking for both quality education and a positive learning environment.

View moreI knew I wanted to study marketing, but what made me choose Mälardalen University was the international twist on their marketing program. To get the International Marketing degree it’s mandatory to go on an exchange semester (I went to Paris and it was amazing!) and many of the classes have an international angle.
Most of the professors were really good – they based our assignments on real life issues and they truly cared about our success. To add to the real life experience we also had many guest lecturers giving us great insight into different marketing professions.
Since the school is relatively new the facilities and especially the library are very nice.
The one down side is the fact that Västerås isn’t a big student city. There are some student activities going on, but it is far from the student life in the big university cities.
