at Lund University

Lund is a unique student life experience, completely adapted for students, making a seamless transition between academics and social traditions. It’s a safe heaven for discovering the world, your interests, your future profession and international connections. The programs are structured, and only a few subjects at a time give plenty of time for understanding topics and exploring new ideas outside of your immediate curriculum.
If you are not part of the induction week, you miss out on a lot. Swedish people aren’t very open to making new friends outside their initial groups, so most of your friends would be other internationals.
There’s a lot to see around Lund, if you prefer the bigger city life, but Lund itself is enough for plenty of fun as a student.
The university lives on rich history and an impressive reputation. Most of the courses live up to this image, but due to it’s old ways, it’s slow to adopt new technologies into course material. For example, social media and digital marketing wasn’t part of the marketing master in 2013.
Overall it was a great experience, though.
