    Campus mobility

In my opinion it’s a good university, where all the buildings are in the same place and it’s easy to get around the campus, and the toast with tomato in the cafeteria is tasty and reasonably priced.
The only thing I would complain about is the facilities in some buildings, which are very old, some elevators don’t work… But at least there’s air conditioning.

CS at UJA: Code, Hard Work, and Tapas

I’m dropping you a quick line to summarize my experience studying Computer Engineering at the EPSJ (University of Jaén):

The Pros: It’s all about the proximity. Since it’s not a massive campus, professors actually know your name, and getting help at the A3 building is easy. The student community is great too—we all help each other survive those nightmare programming assignments.

The Challenge: I won’t lie, it’s tough. First-year Math and Computer Architecture are real “filter” subjects. You’ll spend a lot of time in the library, but at least the labs and facilities are top-notch.

Campus Life: Las Lagunillas is very convenient, though you’ll have to get used to the “UJA wind.” Luckily, the cheap and amazing tapas in Jaén make up for every single bug in your code.

Verdict: If you want solid tech training, a personal touch, and an unbeatable cost of living, this is the place. It’s a grind, but it’s worth it.

    Highly recommended

It is a university that is very close to the student, where you can feel listened to and well cared for. The students are local, but also international, which allows you to establish your first ties with foreign countries. As for the professors, they are very close to their students and generally give very dynamic and instructive classes.

    Robust program

The program is quite robust, offering an ideal blend of design and engineering for architecture, which creates a well-balanced learning experience. Additionally, the professors are often successful, practicing professionals in their fields, which makes the courses more engaging and relevant. However, the school tends to be less selective, leading to a wide range of students’ knowledge and skill levels. As a result, the course pace can slow down to ensure that everyone grasps even the basic concepts.
