There are a lot of trees and that makes me feel like I’m in the countryside or in a park. Also, it’s well communicated (the metro station is line 6 and it has a few buses) and is near Moncloa. I don’ like the high prices of the canteen

This university is open to anybody and really enhances everyone’s skills in any aspect: from hard skills to soft skills. What is more, its association culture is possibly the best in the entire country. Professors are always willing to teach you something new, although criteria is pretty strict. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

It has so many clubs and things you can join. Also it offers many opportunities to go abroad and when you finish you are very likely to get a job. The campus is great, plus it has an excellent communication with Madrid.

I had a bad experience in a PhD program in the UPM at the ETSIT. Many were the time that my supervisor was very stupid, treating me and other students in a bad and an inhumane way. The meetings were always difficult, rough words were frequently used, thousands of meetings were canceled by the supervisor, the supervisor did not want to do your job and the time to finish the PhD was not respected in any sense. Due to this, I only finished my studies in four years and a half, not mattering that my scholarship was for a maximum period of four years and committed with a foreign institution. I spent six months without a scholarship and financial resources, asking help for friends and family. Even as, UPM do not provide university residence for foreigners and it is very hard to find and to live in flats around the town. On the other hand, the experience living in Madrid was positive.
