Words can not describe a quarter of the experience I’ve had, and still have, as an exchange student spending the last semester before her graduation at IE. IE is everything a Business School should be: IE is bold, IE is creative, IE pushes you to be the best version of yourself. IE is innovative, IE is caring, and IE feels like home more than home itself. The programs are both very well thought of and very well achieved, the professors are what competencies should be, the infrastructure automatically merges you into the business world, the student life is everything that makes your 20s the best decade of your life, and Madrid is what dreams are made of. Never in a million years would I have imagined my experience with IE to be this self-fulfilling, enriching, and most importantly: natural.

Ie university has always been my first university choice because of its prestige and high and modern education. Even if the selection process is not easy and fastidious I managed to get in because of my really good results to the baccalauréat. I am glad to be part of such a good university and community because the knowledge they provide me and the quality of the lectures and the professors is just amazing. I truly enjoy every day in this institution and would completely recommend it to anyone with a open mind and a great motivation. Moreover Spain is incredibly beautiful and it is such a pleasure to get to learn a new language a new culture and to meet new persons .

I study Communication and Digital Media at IE University and it has been a one of a kind journey when it comes to my studies. But not necessarily because of the courses, but due to the overall experience. It offers so much opportunities, and networking where you can get doors open for your future. It has helped me develop as a person in the working world because of the way they due their classes. It really takes the content into experiences and allows you to get an insight into the career path you are taking. I will say, if you don’t like to attend to class or prefer to study on your own it is an issue, because IE University is very strict when it comes to their attendance policy, and students have had problems because of how strict it is, and how little they help in that sense. Overall I would recommend the university, especially if you want to to get an idea of how your future working world will be.

IE University’s enduring success can be traced not just to its academics but also the people that make it great such as the diverse international members across continents like Finland and Singapore as part of their close-knit community whose talents flourish under supportive professors expecting high standards culminating in ample engagements outside classrooms for interested parties.

The communications program at IE is extremely focused on marketing. Which I guess makes sense because it is part of the Business School. First year has some classes focusing on creativity but from there it’s just corporate, advertising and marketing which is a bit sad. There is no deep dive into any of the creative realms – they try to cover a lot of different topics but do so very superficially. I finished my third year feeling lost and without deep knowledge in any field (because I don’t like marketing). Some few professors were REALLY good and some most are just experts in the industry and cannot teach at all.
