I greatly enjoyed my time at IBEI. The coursework was intellectually stimulating and generally of high quality, with professors who brought both academic rigor and real-world experience into the classroom. The program placed a strong emphasis on critical thinking through presentations and writing assignments, which helped strengthen my analytical and communication skills. However, one drawback was the frequent group work, which in my opinion hindered individual learning and accountability. Additionally, IBEI seemed to have limited career support resources, making the transition from academia to the job market more challenging for many graduates. While the program provided a strong academic foundation, more structured professional development support would have made the programme 5 stars.
View moreI feel like the masters in general was too broad. I was hoping that doing a masters would give me more practical skills and more narrow focus in my field. I probably should’ve looked into the program more. I’d recommend it for someone that would want to do a degree or a masters in international relations/development where they can explore different aspects of the field to get a diverse viewpoint. But if you’re like me and want something more practical and focused, make sure you do your research and get to know which areas of specialization are asked for by employers in the field you want to enter after your studies. To be honest, I wish I had read some reviews myself before enrolling.
