High end proposals, low participation

EU has been overall a good university to study in. The main issues I believe lied in the content, which was often very repetitive and not focused enough on case studies. Yet, while there were some problems regarding quality of professors (often reading off slides and not promoting participation) and regarding repetition of the content such as the overuse of standard models such as Swot and pestel, I still believe this University has lots of potential. Every week new activities are proposed to students ranging from guest talks with entrepreneurs, to bonding experiences such as trips, or company visits. On the practical side, they are very advanced and always coming up with new initiatives. Furthermore, the University brand itself is very strong and coherent. I had the chance to study in both the Geneva and Barcelona campuses and both places were very active in their project proposals or initiative proposals. The quality of professors was higher in Geneva, yet I did get the chance to meet a few amazing professors also in the Barcelona campus. Another positive aspect is the change of both professors and classmates every semester. While many people I’ve met have frowned upon this, I do believe it it’s a great way to meet new people and to have a cultural exchange, also because the school is very international with students coming in from all over the world.
