I honestly loved it at Varsity College. The premises was always clean and secure, and the environment is quite chilled. There was Meridian Hour where we would have fun activities to do, get some stress off from all the hard work.
The classes have a small number of students, which was great. I was mostly impressed with the lecturers , they were really good, you could tell they were quite passionate about the modules they taught.
If you had any issues/questions the student advisors or deputy principle was there to assist, just an appointment away!
i am currently doing my Post Graduate this year. They provide the great education, the lecturers are very supportive. The campus life was good, i love being part of the soccer team. I feel like i belong there.

View moreMy time at Varsity College has been an exceptional learning experience that has combined academic excellence with practical, career-focused training. I’ve found the lecturers to be highly knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely dedicated to helping students succeed. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, balancing theory with hands-on projects that have helped me develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills that I can directly apply in the workplace.
The campus environment has been welcoming and supportive, with great access to resources like libraries, computer labs, and online materials. I’ve really appreciated the strong sense of community, where collaboration and peer support are encouraged. Overall, Varsity College has prepared me not only academically but also professionally, giving me the skills, confidence, and mindset I need to thrive in my career.
View moreVarsity College is a truly wonderful varsity.
You can learn the same same work as other qualified universities across South Africa while still getting international qualifications.
A majority of the lecturers are still in the field they are lecturing on and they interact with students on a personal level aiming to really immerse students in their qualification (Mr. Grant Senzani is especially good at this).
Encouragement and feedback is given with care and you will truly feel that the university listens to your concerns.
In addition, there are free tutors (Varsity College pays them) and counselors available for students. Student life is also kept interesting with various clubs and activities that happen on campus.
The only issues that others around me have faced are with the finance department, who often seem to either misplace documents or ask for proof of payment constantly.
Overall, Varsity College is a truly excellent university in terms of qualification, student life and support resources.
