Unhappy graduate
I rate the UCT finance department a 0 out of 10. I have been applying for a refund of my overpaid tuition fees since 2020, 2 years later I am yet to receive my refund funds.
They keep asking me for different documents each time I apply for a refund, I have provided them with all the documents they requested thus far, but they still fail to resolve my issue. So much for being a top 5 University in South Africa!
And to add on to that when it is time for them to collect tuitions fees from students, they are too quick to send threats of deregistering students if payments are not made on time. But when it is their time to pay students what’s due to them, they turn a blind eye.
