i like how it is online and that even the exams are now online which is helpful since most of us are working, what is a let down is the communication from university contacts like when enquiring about something they take long or your issue is never resolved until you go to the campus

I highly recommend UNISA as a great institution to kickstart your career course. The university only offers online studies which is great for people who are busy with life and other ventures. You are able to study at your own pace.

I’d say the University of South Africa (UNISA) is a good option if you need flexibility and independence. It’s especially helpful for people who are working, have family responsibilities, or can’t attend classes full-time. Studying at UNISA teaches you strong self-discipline and time-management skills because you’re mostly responsible for keeping yourself on track.

That said, it can feel isolating at times, and getting quick responses from administration or lecturers isn’t always easy. You really have to be patient and proactive. But if you’re self-motivated and comfortable with distance learning, UNISA can open doors and make higher education accessible in a way that fits around your life.

Unisa is one of the best universities in the world as the courses are done online and the support that is given to their students is unmatched. Studying with them is beneficial especially if you are working full time. They also offer mental health services for those who are not coping during their academic year.

Unisa is a good university for South Africans. I just love it and appreciate their support to make our dreams come true. I will give them 10 out 10

I only have good things to say about the University of South Africa, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology last year. It was tough to juggle by we had student group for help and our lectures were always available for further clarification if needed. The programme was flexible and matched my schedule when needed.

My time at Unisa was life-changing! The flexibility of their online courses allowed me to balance work and studies. The lecturers were super supportive, and the resources were top-notch. I loved the sense of community, even from a distance. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a flexible and quality education!

UNISA is a great university that offers online distant learning programs. It is ideal for the working class who are looking into further developing their academics. However you need to be very disciplined and focused, it’s easy to fall off the wagon when you don’t have any pressure from leactures. If you are someone who cannot work independently, than this is not the institution for you. At Unisa it’s every man for himself. You bearly get to experience versity life. On the bright side though, you get to pursue other things like your hobbies while obtaining your qualification. I really like the freedom that comes with online distant learning.

Is very tough studying via ODL, even when it comes with challenge I am enjoying being a Unisa student as I am working hard to get my qualification. Unisa is a very strict University and it needs one to be hardworking and very discipline. And study hard

It has been an incredible opportunity to study at the University of South Africa. In addition to their excellent subject-matter knowledge, the instructors here are kind and supportive, demonstrating a genuine concern for their students’ success. I’ve had the opportunity to work on meaningful projects and engage in enlightening talks that have increased my understanding of critical concepts. Aside from academics, the campus climate is positive, inviting, and full of opportunities for professional and personal growth.
