UNISA is a good university for students who are independent, disciplined, and need flexibility. It provides solid academic content and makes higher education accessible, especially for working students or those with other responsibilities.

I liked that this University specializes on online learning the most. It is quiet good as we made videos with our lectures studying, there were study groups and we were learning in those groups. Getting to ask questions and doing the research together while we are far from each other teaches responsibility to oneself.

What I don’t like is that some students don’t bother getting into the groups, they don’t interact with lectures and no one reaches up to them as they are far away, so of you’re not putting your effort there no one come to assist you, you must meet others half way.

What I like about Unisa is that you can able to work and study and the same time.it is a distance learning and their system they are using is more advice.you can have work according to your schedule everytime.

Studying at the University of South Africa has been a fantastic experience. The university achieves the optimal blend of challenging academics and a supportive community. The instructors are excited about what they teach and are always willing to assist, ensuring that you not only learn but also comprehend the content. The site is picturesque, surrounded by mountains, and offers a dynamic atmosphere for learning and relaxation. The University of South Africa is a place that will challenge you academically while also providing you with the resources you need to flourish outside of class.

UNISA is a total game-changer if you want to work while studying. It’s flexible, so you can gain experience and still get your degree. I would recommend it 100%, especially for people with busy lives, like stay-at-home moms or anyone juggling work and study.

The only downside is the lack of support sometimes. In my first year, I had a teacher’s assistant who completely ignored my messages and emails, even for a really tough module. It was frustrating, especially since we were all struggling, and we had to rely on each other to figure things out. Hopefully, UNISA can work on improving response times from teacher’s assistants.
