The University is good for people who are working but still want to pursue their studies. It does have issues here and there but overall its not really bad and its accommodating. My years of studies there have been super good and helps me with self discipline. It challenges me to work on my own and figure things on my own. They also offer classes online which helps a lot since every is online at UNISA. The only thing that tends to be an issue with them is their system, sometimes it crashes which affects the school work and submission deadlines but to be on the safe side I would advice submitting early at all times.
View moreAs a UNISA student I have expressed concerns about inconsistent communication, varying quality across modules, and the challenges of studying remotely, such as feeling isolated from other students. Despite these issues, l see my experience improving over time and value the cost-effectiveness and reputation of the university.
Overall, I would rate the program positively, highlighting the flexibility and supportive environment, but also advise prospective students to be prepared for the self-motivation required for online learning. I would recommend UNISA to students who need a flexible, affordable education and are comfortable with a self-directed study approach.

View moreThe University of South Africa is a great institution that puts in a lot of effort to give every student many opportunities to succeed. The lecturers, just like the rest of the faculty and staff, are committed to improving the learning experience for their students. Even though university life can be challenging, UNISA helps bring out the best in you. The atmosphere is always positive and lively. I’m proud to be part of this university and would gladly recommend it to others.
View moreUNISA is really great for me since it allowed me to have this opportunity and is a good platform that can teach you on how you manage time and stay consistence to your own studies, and is also self-paced but you need to make sure when coming to due dates, make sure you have submitted everything in time. The Cons of it is that sometimes is really difficult to engage to other students and downloading the apps, and yes, they do provide tutorials but as a student, we use different laptops that are not compatible with the application requirements.
