I really loved the University as they were so many resources for all my projects and practical. The lectures were so great and active during classes and practical. I mostly enjoyed my drama class as it made me have a different view to everything.
View moreI absolutely loved the university environment that made it possible for creative thinkers. My program was an absolute blast because my professors were very progressive. I was in the Anthropology department and my professors taught for growth and not just for marks. I was sculpted into the best version of myself as a creative and critical thinker.
The university atmosphere was amazing. There are a lot of spaces for connecting with otehr students. It is really a world class university and has the best scholarship options because I studied for free and left with 2 degrees and no student loan or debt at all.
Wits university is notorious for its high academic standards and its low graduation rate. As a student, I was often overwhelmed with a never-ending pile of on-comming submissions. Most assesments within a specific academic block were crammed into one or two weeks meaning I would often have atleast 3 highly demanding submissions within the same week (I once wrote an English Literature test and had to rush halfway across campus to write a Symbolic Logic test that had been scheduled right after the first test). Despite all of this Wits provides additional resources and mental health support for its students through the efforts of the CCDU. Overall my time at wits has been turbulent but filled with much support.
