The university puts 90 percent of its effort into academics and that does not leave much room for anything else. I do not like that there is a lot of nightlife. I like that there is diversity because of the various cultures. I would recommend it for people who know exactly what they want to study and not so much for people who are still trying to find themselves.
View moreRhodes University is an exceptional university, as it caters to studies in multi-disciplines and focuses on leader development as its motto “Where leaders learn” rings true, and its diverse student population adds testimony to its policy of inclusion which is fostered by the University. Everybody feels welcomed and appreciated for their uniqueness. What I specifically liked about the university is the “home away from home” feel, with smaller undergraduate classes to create a personal one-one interaction with the student. Despite it being a small university, nestled in the small town of Grahamstown, it’s a powerful example of excellence and success and is highly recommended as a university of choice.
