Having been in UKZN for atleast 5years, and got to explore 3 of its 5 campuses, I’d say ukzn is overall a good university to study at. It has become a home for most of us, owing to the geographical location of its campuses, most of which are within accessible areas, and have residential homes with aesthetically pleasing views, with access to a lot of interesting things. We have a beautiful orientation program at the beginning of your first year, and various clubs and societies whom are a groups of peers you either do sports, church, music, art or politics, literally anything and everything, and you can join as many societies as you want. We also get to see psychologists, school nurses and other supporting stuff who assists us with challenges of daily living, be it health or academic related.
