I loved my university experience, it does however need more practical’s you see this once you in the working space when college students are performing far better due more experience and the preference of employers .

I attended at the Westville campus throughout 2013-2021. One of the best things I remember about UKZN is how well-equipped it is. From having multiple computer labs to the PA systems in class.The libraries are well-equipped and security is tight (without being suffocating)

There are people from all kinds of backgrounds, so you need to choose your friends carefully, and know your limits and capabilities. This is a great environment to start building your network. Especially the guys you see working at the library or as ushers during the weekends. They know how the system works.

The area is very secluded, so if you’re really focused, and stay inspired, you will learn great things here. It’s not about what they teach you, it’s about what you learn.

I don’t know where I would be if it weren’t for UKZN and the education it gave me.

It’s an okay university for your undergrad but as a postgraduate you will suffer. My masters applications disappeared and I was only left with one, they approved me but failed to clear me financially even though i have funding. I dont recommend postgraf studies

Since I came to this university I have been taken care of, the staff us efficient and their environment is very student friendly. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a safe student friendly environment

Classes are always postponed and work keeps on pulling up. It is so frustrating cause even when you need help, the professors take forever to reply and sometimes do not reply. UKZN must do better than this.
