More than just a degree
I attended at the Westville campus throughout 2013-2021. One of the best things I remember about UKZN is how well-equipped it is. From having multiple computer labs to the PA systems in class. The libraries are well-equipped and security is tight (without being suffocating)
There are people from all kinds of backgrounds, so you need to choose your friends carefully, and know your limits and capabilities. This is a great environment to start building your network. Especially the guys you see working at the library or as ushers during the weekends. They know how the system works.
The area is very secluded, so if you’re really focused, and stay inspired, you will learn great things here. It’s not about what they teach you, it’s about what you learn.
I don’t know where I would be if it weren’t for UKZN and the education it gave me.
