This university takes up to 540 new students every year, sum that up with four years needed to complete your studies plus the master’s degree students and those seeking doctorates, it adds up to at least 2000 different persons you can meet, not including professors, assistants and such.
The studies here help you make a good foundation in seeking a career in engineering, although at least 30% of the subjects and exams are utterly unnecessary. Some subjects are outdated and are not required in modern job positions.
The worst part I’d say is the professors (on my program, the other programs are alright 90% of the time), some of them are just vile and do not care about your personal circumstances when you’re supposed to take an exam. You are sometimes being treated just like a number; your student ID number is all that matters to them.
To summarize, with no other alternative in the area to study engineering I’d say this is your best bet. Other universities are privately held compared to this one which is state-held and will only teach you a minimal amount of programming which is required to get a job as an underpaid junior.
