University of Nis - GAF (reviews)

I study architecture at Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, University of Niš. There are some good things about our program but also many bad ones as well. Since it’s not only faculty of architecture, but also civil engineering we have many civil engineering subjects. I agree that it’s good to have basic knowledge about that because it is very connected, but we have way too many of them. First two and a half years are well planned, but next 2 and a half (it’s 5 years program) should be changed. Also, creativity is something that our professors lack a lot. Some subjects that are in general very interesting, at our faculty are one of those that students hate the most because of the professors and their, I must say, boring programs.
Bottom line, we get good base here but that’s it. I would suggest making studies 3+2 years instead 5+0, so students can leave and find some good architecture school or making the program much, much better.
