

I would say that in general University happens when the life itself is complicated and challenging. For me studying a lot, pulling all-nighters, learning how to present myself, my knowledge and skills was a major experience. In Belgrade we don’t have a campus, rather big dorms for students that are not from Belgrade. I think that experience is important and i am sad that i have never experienced campus life. Also, organization of studies is improving now, but i would say we learn a lot of broad spectrum information, hard to implement in the first place. Good thing is nobodys expects from us to know many stuff in lab work considering autonomous work in a lab is hardly present during studies. But you can easily find volunteering opportunity and people in research and scientist around are very open to learning students of all years. Overall i would say that this type of studies brought me some life experience, but it took away some curiosity that i am trying to take back now.
I am glad i went through that, also COVID, online classes that were so unhelpful, but it really pushed my limits when it comes to goal achieving and finishing everything no matter what. I guess having hard time is sometimes better, at least i would say that is my stile
