As a student at Innopolis University during the COVID-19 pandemic, my experience was a mix of challenge and resilience. Transitioning to online classes was a significant adjustment. While I appreciated the university’s quick shift to digital platforms, the lack of face-to-face interaction was tough. Collaborative projects became more challenging, and I missed the spontaneous discussions in the hallways.
However, the support from faculty was commendable; they were always available, adapting their teaching methods to keep us engaged. The university organized virtual events and workshops, fostering a sense of community despite physical distancing.
On the downside, the isolation affected mental well-being for many students. Innopolis University showed remarkable flexibility, allowing students to study at their own pace and providing mental health resources. This period highlighted the university’s commitment to student welfare and innovation. while COVID-19 presented hurdles, it also showcased the strength and support of our university community, fostering creativity and adaptability in trying times.
