West University from Timisoara - WUT (reviews)

I really enjoyed being a student at WUT and I truly believe that it was among the best decisions that I have made in my life. I have learned so much, but at the same time there were a lot of opportunities for me to have fun and enjoy activities outside of the university. The teachers were great and the classes were not that difficult.

I’m a third year Informatics student here and honestly I’ve enjoyed my time so far. The Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics has solid professors, especially in the algorithms and databases courses, and I feel like I’ve actually learned skills I can use in a real job, not just theory for the sake of it.

The labs use updated equipment, but some courses feel a bit outdated compared to what’s happening in the industry right now. The teaching staff are usually open to questions and willing to help outside class hours if you ask.

The West University of Timisoara is a place where tradition meets modernity. The campus is lively, with historical buildings and modern study spaces. The library is huge and well-organized, and the professors are very accessible and dedicated. What I like most is the welcoming atmosphere and the diversity of the students. Timisoara is a beautiful city, with parks and cafes where you can study or relax after classes. The university organizes many cultural events and workshops, which provide excellent networking opportunities. It is a perfect environment to learn and develop both academically and personally.

They did lack organization in some areas, but i think they really teach students their crafts in a special way, and they also have a good filter for the students who do not care and those who actually want to learn.
