University Politehnica of Bucharest is a prestigious institution that provides a very solid technical foundation. The difficulty level is high, but this environment teaches you how to think analytically and solve complex problems under pressure.
What I liked:
The biggest advantage is the direct connection to the job market. Many top IT and engineering companies recruit directly from the campus or organize student-focused events. Also, the campus is huge, full of green spaces, and offers an active student life.
What I disliked:
The bureaucracy is often slow, and administrative processes (especially at the secretariats) can be frustrating. Furthermore, during the first years of study, some theoretical subjects might feel outdated, and the equipment in certain basic laboratories could use an upgrade.
Would you recommend it?
Yes, I highly recommend this university to future engineers or programmers who are willing to put in a consistent effort. Although it’s challenging, the degree you earn here is extremely valuable and opens many doors at the start of your career.
