University of Aveiro (reviews)

I have a really good opinion about the University of Aveiro. The campus is huge, an open air architectural museum (most buildings were designed by renowned architects) and extremely beautiful surroundings. But that’s just one of the features. The fact that the campus is just one unique “space”, it allows students from different fields and degrees to interact with each other on a daily basis, broadening their horizons and ways of thinking. This also allows for a really close relationship with most of the teachers and staff.

Great unniversity, with a huge campus. Everyone is connected and that’s why it has a great community. The professores are open minded and try to help you as much as they can.

Everything is well organized, specially for the new students.

The University of Aveiro is one of the best universities in Portugal, with a strong reputation for research and several high-quality programs, especially in science and engineering. It offers great opportunities for those who enjoy research, innovation, and want to combine their studies with a calmer and more focused environment.

As with any university, there are trade-offs, especially when it comes to housing and social life. If you choose the University of Aveiro, it’s important to plan your accommodation well in advance and manage your expectations regarding the lack of diversity in social life.
