Good research, good teaching
If you are interested in developing scientific research, this might be one of the best places to do that. Installations could stand some improvement, getting better equipment, materials and conditions is becoming more necessary every year. UMinho already rivals Porto and Lisbon universities, and I believe that in a few years it might surpass them.
