The university campus was good, and the professors were experts in their areas, but overall, the course was too extensive. I felt a lack of practical disciplines that would prepare us better for real-life work. Some of the disciplines were too complex and not completely relevant to the course itself, and the evaluation system was a bit too rough sometimes. It was not my case, but a great percentage of people who enroll in my specific course, Accountancy and Management, most of the time can’t finish the course within three years. That must mean something. But overall, it’s a great place with very nice people, professors and staff; the food is good, and the building conditions are okay.
View moreISCAP is a solid and well-organized business school with a practical approach to learning. The environment feels welcoming, the campus has good facilities, and most teachers focus on real-world applications, which makes the classes more engaging. It’s a good place for students who want a mix of theory and hands-on experience, especially in management, languages, and communication.
View moreThe professors make a big effort to teach us the right things while making it interesting. They’re also friendly and respectful of us and are free to give us tips and help us outside of school. On the other hand, there are a lot of things that we’re taught that aren’t really used anymore and I think we would benefit from a more recent programme. The accounting degree is a bit disappointing for anyone that is into business as it’s 80% accounting and 20% business and the classes that are related to business don’t have a lot of information and professors aren’t that interested in teaching either because they think we’re all there to be accountants. The buildings and classrooms have good conditions but visually it’s very dated.
View moreI love my university experience. The university is very cute with garden and is very close to the Oporto center and transportation. The students have a good and close relationship with the teachers and all staff. I created a few friends for life and today, after 12 years I still speak with some teachers.
