Nova University FCT is a fantastic institution located in the beautiful town of Costa da Caparica. The university is well-positioned in the heart of the town, making it easy to find and access. The campus features impressive buildings and modern structures. The professors are knowledgeable and highly regarded in their fields, and the staff is friendly, always smiling, and eager to help.
One of the highlights of studying at Nova FCT is the convenience and affordability of transportation. With the Navegante pass, transportation is very cheap, and you can easily walk anywhere on campus within 10 minutes. The cafeterias are beautiful and offer a variety of great food at very affordable prices. The university is also well-connected, with easy access to both the bus station and metro. Plus, there’s free Wi-Fi available throughout the campus, which makes studying and staying connected convenient.
However, there are some challenges, especially for international students who do not speak Portuguese. Most of the signage and information around the campus are only in Portuguese, which can make finding your way around difficult at first. Additionally, although some courses are taught in English, many study materials are still predominantly in Portuguese, which can be a bit frustrating.
Overall, Nova University FCT is a great place to study, with a vibrant environment and many benefits. It’s a welcoming institution, but there could be more support for non-Portuguese speaking students to help ease their transition.
