Nova School of Science and Technology (reviews)

I loved attending this university for its environment. Well organised, with helpful student guidance and friendly students. I didn’t really like my studies, as they were centered very much on research and working in a lab, but that was a personal preference. Overall I think the courses were done well and were useful for someone wanting to pursue a career in research. Student life was pretty good, as there were a lot of parties and clubs.
The cons, however, were the facilities, which were a bit outdated, and the occasional bad teacher.

This university is very good. It not only teaches about the specific topic that you are studying but also teaches you some strong soft skills and work rules from your area. Since it is for science and engineering, most classes are practical which gives you prepare for what is coming afterwards.

It depends on your degree of choice but overall good quality education and great job prospects.

The campus is very big but isolated.
The facilities are a bit lacking, some of the buildings are old, sport facilities are non-existent and food services are not sufficient for all the students.
Security is good, inside the campus and in the access to the dorms, which are very close but outside the campus.

Public transport is ok, there is a tram station for the university and several bus stops.
The beach is just a short bus ride away.
Free parking in the campus with plenty of spaces
