Student review [#91085] for Finance
at Nova School of Business and Economics

I would say it is a very good school, highly intensive, lots of things to like, location, course work relevance for me as a finance student, prestige: it’s worth the hype. The conferences, environment, everything.

What I don’t like: that you have to bid for courses and even bid for your final project, and sometimes you don’t get into those courses, and for your project thesis you may not be given your first or even second choice of preference. I also did not like that courses like Hedge Funds are a half-semester course (6 weeks) as opposed to being a full semester course. Lastly, there ought to be space given after course work to be better ready for exam but the moment lectures are done this week, the very next week is exam and I don’t like that.
