Overall, Universidade de Lisboa is not a bad university since the subjects that are taught are pretty impressive and the amount of languages that it has makes it even more impressive. The teachers, the students, and all the other staff os pretty great but what I found to be very difficult at this university is that the classes that you have are with people from different courses so you end up having a tough time meeting people and having the college experience.
View moreThe Faculty of Arts and Humanities is a college with very good teachers and interesting content, and there are very dynamic classes. There are all kinds of people in this college, so it is quite diverse, although mostly made up of girls.
On the negative side, the state of its facilities stands out. It is a college over 100 years old that needs work with some urgency.
In 2013, I came from China for studying Portuguese in a complete Portuguese language environment. I was very lucky that I met very professional professors for teaching me Portuguese as my second foreign language, at the same time, I met friendly people who came from all over the world and studied together there, all of my professors have professional teaching methods, combined with patience and technique, it is not available in any training institution outside of universities. I fully trust the professional education of the university campus. What I got is that I can now work and communication in Portuguese completely with my colleagues.__
