I loved studying in a Polytechnic, because I got a love of useful skills to my future, that aren’t always attainable on a University. You end up having a lot more proximity with your professors, than you would in a University (since classes tend to be a lot bigger), which facilitates the building of a relationship. So yeah, I will always recommend it.
View moreThis Polytechnic is a fun and welcoming place where everyone feels like family, united by being part of the community. The professors are generally very kind, knowledgeable, and approachable. As a freshman, I found some “weed” classes that lived up to their reputation, but while some courses are difficult, most are enjoyable regardless of their difficulty.

View moreI have a degree in Solicitors from the Superior School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic of Porto. I can say that it is a school with good teachers in general, with a good academic environment, however, the degree could be improved. When I talk about improvements, I’m talking about the curricular plan, since it would be very beneficial for students to have a subject in English Language and Computer Science. Another improvement would be the possibility of doing an internship in the last year of the course since students would already leave with some idea of the professional world and with more skills.
