StudentPTChallenging but rewarding academic experienceFCUP is a great institution if you are serious about Science. The professors are very knowledgeable and experts in their fields. The campus at Campo Alegre has a really nice atmosphere with green spaces to relax between classes. However, the workload can be quite heavy and demanding, and some facilities could use a renovation. Overall, I will recommend it for the quality of education and research opportunities.

It is a very old university in Portugal, with its institutes spread out through the center of Porto. Very well connected. Overal, good professors and extensive class offerings. Accessible to international students, as classes can be taught in english. Good collaborations with different research institutes and industries for academic interships. Very lively campus life with old traditions and festivities (namely, black academic dress “traje académico”).

I loved the university, the classes, professors and the campus where everything is envolved at. Its a solid choice if you wanna study engeneering. Also you are gonna benefict from the fact that you are in Portugal, living your best life.
