

My degree is really strong on the pratical component. In my experience the lectures are not the most interesting, and it’s mostly about you learning by yourself.
Dealing with any bureaucratic situation usually turns into a nightmare due to weird and confuse internal process’s and not so well informed staff.
The historic heritage, and the social life around the students association is amazing and offers a lot of opportunities for the students to learn skills, make conections and express themselves.
Studying at the Coimbra School of Nursing has been a great experience. There are many internship opportunities in different contexts, and the professors are very supportive throughout the course. I feel I am gaining good preparation to work as a nurse in the future.
View moreUniversity of Coimbra is a really old institution, with some prestige acquired during all those years of existence but needs to step up a bit in terms of how it handles the non research part of the degrees. A big part of the professors doesn’t seem super intrested in givving the lectures, and that makes them boring and not very helpful.
The best about studying in Coimbra is all the dynamics that happen around the university and the students association, with lots of cultural things you can participate as a student.
