I did my first Master’s here – in Service Management – after completing my Bachelor’s at the Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
The academic level at Católica Porto Business School was not as demanding as I had experienced before, and I felt that many of my colleagues were less prepared compared to my previous faculty. However, the overall experience was very positive.
The tuition was excellent – very well-structured and thoughtfully designed. The school creates a great environment for learning, with high-quality lectures and committed professors. Everything seemed carefully aligned to encourage not just knowledge acquisition, but the development of a mindset of continuous learning.
The campus itself was lovely – very well located near the sea, with green spaces, and surrounded by good cafés and restaurants. It offered the best of both worlds: a peaceful, inspiring environment for study, and easy access to the vibrant life of Porto. Whether going out at night, shopping, playing sports, or visiting museums – you could truly live the city.
I absolutely loved living in Porto, a city I had moved to just for this programme. Having classes in Foz, right by the ocean, gave me a unique pleasure in studying – it was a daily motivation. I truly learned a lot here. Especially when comparing it to other institutions where I later did my Erasmus, my second Master’s and where I’m currently pursuing my MBA, I can confidently say: this is a great choice.
I also made two great friends during the programme, and I met two professors whom I will admire for life. Those human connections are, in the end, what truly enrich any academic journey.
