The vast majority of instructors are exceptionally skilled and passionate about their subjects, which instills a strong sense of career interest in students. One of the most appealing aspects of the Universidade do Minho program is the professional environment and the lively campus atmosphere.

Firstly, the speed with which they resolve the students’ issues is not so impressive. Students have to go multiple times and visit academic services block for the same issue.
Secondly, their online portal needs some improvements.

University of Minho has been great experience mainly because the campus life is awesome and most important thing for me is the subjects taught in my programme are so straight to the point and a mix of all I need to learn and that is what matters to me in my masters degree the most.

It was 3 years of great memories and experiences. AAUM helps students a lot. The teachers are super accessible. Teaching allows us to be prepared academically and professionally. It was a pleasure to be part of this academy.

After 3 years I have to say that the teaching was excellent. Prepared at 100% theoretically. In practice it fails a little, but it compensates with EEG for the activities offered.
The academic environment is 100%.

There are lots of academic activities and ways to integrate students.

I do not recommend it to students looking to pursue a practical short-term professional life in the fields of economics, management and marketing. The programs are developed solely and exclusively on a theoretical basis, which is clearly fundamental, however, there are no tools available in the courses that prepare us in any way for the job market. To find these tools, it is necessary to look for associations and extracurricular activities, which in fact exist, but are developed by the students themselves, often without any kind of support from the school of economics and management.
There is a huge focus on the part of the School of Economics and Management in the development of scientific articles, where most of them are not very relevant in the area, being even published in disreputable newspapers, ending up by the direction and, as a consequence, teachers forget about their students and its development. All this to be able to please your own navel and ego, forming one or several generations with similar defects.

I believe my trip to the University of Minho was one of the best I’ve ever had, however, I am able to understand all that it could have been better and how we, as students, play an integral role in this change.

I really liked the course I attended at this university, the fact that there is no practical part of the course is a disadvantage, as it would be advantageous for the student to apply theoretical knowledge. Overall a pretty complete university.

The University of Minho is a university that encourages people to do their best, both in classes and in training and courses.
The experience is very good, because we communicate with Erasmus students, students from various courses, and teachers who tell us their professional experience.
It has a good balance between theory and practice. The facilities are very good, despite the library which is relatively small for the number of students studying there.
As for the location, it is in a place a little away from the center, which is good, but nevertheless it still takes a few minutes on foot or by car from this, which is incredible.

It stands out due to its excellence in a variety of fields, such as business, science, engineering and medicine, even though it´s a recent university. Additionally, the bachelors in management and economics and the master in finance, from the School of Business and Economics are all credited internationally by the European Foundation for Management Development (EPAS).
Furthermore, it also has a research institute related to bio-sustainability.
Asides its undeniable academical merit, it also stands out for its warm and inviting academical environment, providing a pleasant integration of new students.
