Overall it’s a great university, one of the best in Portugal. The biological engineering course comprises a diversity of subjects from the food industry to the environmental industry and a great base of engineering matters. The teachers are good in general, they all have pretty much the same way of teaching. But I have encountered excellent teachers that surely have an important part in my journey, but can’t say that for all of them.
One of the most special characteristics in this university is the academic traditions outside the course, that help integrate new students. I can say that I created unforgettable and amazing memories because of that.
The facilities are okay, some parts could use improvement.
In general, it’s a university that I would recommend.
