I highly recommend this university for social and cultural studies. The professors are highly knowledgeable, creative and informed of the current social and international trends which allows them to optimize their class syllabus to the best way possible. There are also a lot of possibilities to take part in the classes outside your own department and explore other fields to create the best program for your own interests.

I studied American Studies at University of Warsaw. I’ve gained amazing skills of how to interpret and talking about issues connected with pop culture, social media, and politics. Describe your educational experience like you would describe it to a friend. I thought the course was just going to be advanced English and some subjects specific to American history and culture, however the electives focused on subjects such as gender and body studies, music, poetry, and more. The best thing about the programme was that I could take things that I was interested in and related to, and focus on them academically. I would definitely recommend it to my friends who are interested in cultural studies.
