Globalisation strengthens the connection between companies from all over the world. It is time people understand the importance of international business.
International business degrees are shaped to give students practical knowledge about different business management practices from all over the world. In addition, candidates are prepared for business careers abroad or in organisations that are engaged in business on a global scale.
Moreover, international business is vital in order to understand different cultures and mindsets and ultimately become a global citizen.
A degree in International Business prepares you for a job in a culturally diverse business environment, which means that any graduate can benefit from opportunities in any country.
The advantage of an International Business course is that you are highly employable for most industries since the majority of skills acquired are transferable.
Candidates studying international business will also gain information and insight about the difficulties of starting and growing businesses from different countries, something which is of utmost importance for anyone who wants to make their business thrive.
International Business is usually a three-year commitment, depending on each university. Lately, there are institutions which offer the possibility of having a ‘sandwich course’, which basically enables the candidates to work abroad for one year in the industry, as part of their studies.
The purpose of the ‘sandwich course’ is to encourage students to step outside their comfort zone and work in a different culture and environment. In this way, they will understand other mentalities, as well as gain relevant working experience in the field.
I guess in Lazarski a lot depends on the programme you’re studying. My programme (double-degree IRES) had quite a good and interesting curriculum and possibilities to choose more preferred subjects. Additionally, I liked lecturers, teachers, as they were always well-prepared and interesting to listen. For the whole learning journey I didn’t face any issues with lecturers. University also gives great possibility to participate in different initiatives and join student clubs (negotiate, debate clubs) to develop your skills.
Apart from that, I didn’t face issues looking for a job and started working in corporate from the 3rd year of studies.
The biggest con I see is the schedule, sometimes it was hard to combine work and studies, there could be lecture at 10AM and then at 13PM so the day was a bit broken because of that.
As a third-year student at Lazarski University, I’ve found the experience to be both challenging and rewarding. The academic programs are robust, offering a diverse range of courses that have expanded my knowledge in my chosen field. The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, fostering a positive learning environment. However, there have been occasional administrative issues that could be improved for a smoother overall experience. The campus facilities are well-maintained, providing a conducive atmosphere for studying. Overall, Lazarski University has been a valuable part of my academic journey.
View moreIt is worth studying at Lazarski University. I can admit the high professionalism of the lectures, quality materials, nice facilities and the atmosphere overall. It is a great experience to receive a double degree diploma from Coventry university. Studying online while pandemic was great as well.
View moreIn general, I had a positive experience of studying at Lazarski University, as I met a lot of interesting people there, found friends with interests, and in general, good teaching staff and interesting lessons do their job.
View moreThe educational experience here is very okay in simple terms. You get to meet different people from different countries and cultures. Yes, the course is as expected. I am an International relations student! Even nicer getting to know about European politics and European Union in general.
What I like the most is the ever-helpful lecturers and the school. They were really helpful during my visa process back in my country. They reply to emails almost immediately, providing adequate information and documents needed.
I will definitely recommend it to a friend. It’s a good experience.
The cons of this is be prepared to read!!!! It’s not funny. You might really not be able to work if you want good grades. But work is still very possible.
View moreI am studying my 3rd year at Lazarski University. Overall, they have a good staff and many new organisations. The university is small and relatively young and new. Therefore, it follows the trends and cares about their students. Recently, many new things have been opened in Lazarski, which is good to have a better social life as a student besides studies. The university studies are not the easy ones, you actually have to put in an effort and work. What I dislike about the university is that it lacks organisational skills. It has many international students but they never manage it correctly. Like we, international students, have to know everything in advance for travelling, making visa, etc. But Lazarski, from my all experience, tend to make last minute decisions. Otherwise, I pretty like the uni and student life in Warsaw.
View moreI’m studying International Relations and I’m really enjoying the combination of Philosophy, Politics, and modern-day analysis of politics. Very interesting and knowledgeable Professors with very good English skills. Highly enjoyable course for someone who’s interested in philosophy and politics, and the search for a deeper meaning.
View moreOn the whole, the university is good and they are trying to get even better. Good atmosphere, good staff of teachers. Teachers are always happy to help. However, there is absolutely no difference between a double and a single degree, except for the price. Also, since the field of international relations is broad, I think the university could add more interesting and useful studies than teaching the same thing a couple of times. I don’t like the increasing number of young teachers who graduated from Lazarski University and became teachers at that university. But of course there are excellent professors who do their jobs excellently. Overall, not a bad place to start.
View moreBeing at Lazarski was a journey the whole 3 years there it was a life changing experience. Its humbling to find lecturers that help you out from start to finish. The school was strict and it was worth it.
View moreI like my university and studying here brought me a great deal of opportunities along with a part-time job as a Student Help Desk Coordinator. I cannot consider my faculty complicated even though many people consider it so but you have to know how to get knowledge, to find academic sources, and to make quality research on your own. As for the cons: my program doesn’t really match with the description on the website. In fact, there is almost no difference between single and double degrees despite the almost doubled fees. But generally, Lazarski University is a good start for your personal career path.
