They have good laboratories and I learned something useful there especially the hands on training and design components of some engineering courses during the experiments. I gotta give 5 stars to the laboratories because I learned so much from here. I learned new types of apparatus, design software, measurement techniques, and learned how to apply theory from textbook. Some professors deserve a shoutout. I had this one prof who is fluent in English and knows how to teach. He gave excellent presentations and nice notes. He puts lof of efforts making the exam questions and assignemnts that would require problem solving and cannot just be done by reading the textbook. Most professors are not good. Some of them just give you a list of question, like 100 questions. Your task is to find the answer for these 100 questions, memorise them and he hudt picks 5-8 questions for the exam. It is just a waste of my time and I did not learn anything from classes like that. No one memorises the derivative of a formula using matrices and it has zero application in real engineering job. 50% of the profs speak English at less than B2 level but this school would require you to pass the B2 exam. I am 100% certain that most lecturers here would fail the English proficiency test. This review is. coming from a native English speaker. Oh the ISO also required me to submit my English language proficiency although English is an official language in my country. Some of the courses are very useful and has practicality for jobs in real life especially the programming related courses. It’s not just abiut studying the theory brhind computer science but the professors also teach you real life applications. Unfortunately, that is not the case for some of the engineering courses since the exams are based on memorising slides. So far I am in my second semester and there was only one electrical engineering course that lets you bring any textbook you want to the final exam because the professor made it impossible to pass unless if you know what’s going on with the exam. The International Student Office is horrible and they should be ashamed. It took them 3 months to verify my tuition payment and I could not apply for VISA because I did not have time for it. Thankfully I can enter the schengen area without VISA and I applied for residence permit.
