Well defined and well-maintained classes with highly trained professors. They are very much timely and can happily assist you and your questions during consultation 1 to 1.
You can learn a great deal of Aerospace Engineering tools and get inspired by student clubs flying rockets and gliders, and racing cars.
Warsaw University of technology is the best technical university in Poland. The lab facilities are top-notch. The teachers are friendly and try to help as much as they can. The university has many international students which give me an opportunity to interact with people from cultures and background.
I am in my 1st semester as a Master’s student and my experience till now has been amazing.
The program was thoroughly taught with great attention and detail. The teachers are very experienced as well. The facilities are one of the best in the country. Friendly atmosphere. Once done there are definitely opportunities.
View moreThe professors have all the knowledge and experience but a few of them sometimes fail to answer some questions or explain something due to English not being a primary language for them.
Also, my department declined to sponsor our Polish language classes even after paying 1500 Euros per semester just because it’s not necessary for us.
I’m studying Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture at Warsaw University of Technology. I am a first-year student and I can say that so far it’s going pretty well. The programme requires a lot of creativity and persistence because you have to make multiple models (which are usually wrong, so you have to re-make them), but besides, it is an amazing and very interesting programme. I am satisfied with my choice and personally, I really enjoy learning about design, architecture, epochs etc. The professor who is conducting freehand drawing classes is an amazing teacher and artist.
The big disadvantage is that these studies are quite expensive (because you have to buy photoshop and other graphic programs).
Even though I would recommend this programme to people who are truly passionate about architecture.
Power engineering is such a versatile program in the field of engineering and that makes it quite interesting and enlightening. It covers a wide range of courses and fields. Very difficult but worth it. I always wanted to study something associated with energy/electrical and mechanical engineering and power engineering covers just that. Power generation, engine designs and modelling and such a variety of courses make it quite the catch. So many areas of applications.
View moreFirstly, it is Hard to cope with the university staff (student office + dean office specifically!!! ) , as an international student it is so difficult to continue studying there. Secondly, The subjects are really strong but most professors treat you like you already studied everything. On the other hand, there are lots of great staff and teachers there who gonna let you love the university and try harder.
View moreA great institute to me, especially the laboratory facilities, almost all subjects which are using the laboratory for enhancing and applying the theory, their instruments are almost new because they spent (budgeted) quite a lot for it. Probably you could see that as tactical things to attract international students with facilities and publications. Social life, it’s a bit though enough to explain, first, they already had a group since they’re in bachelor. the second, last but the least, you should know about basic polish, because they prefer to talk with strangers using a polish, although they’re friendly students.
View moreThey have good laboratories and I learned something useful there especially the hands on training and design components of some engineering courses during the experiments. I gotta give 5 stars to the laboratories because I learned so much from here. I learned new types of apparatus, design software, measurement techniques, and learned how to apply theory from textbook. Some professors deserve a shoutout. I had this one prof who is fluent in English and knows how to teach. He gave excellent presentations and nice notes. He puts lof of efforts making the exam questions and assignemnts that would require problem solving and cannot just be done by reading the textbook. Most professors are not good. Some of them just give you a list of question, like 100 questions. Your task is to find the answer for these 100 questions, memorise them and he hudt picks 5-8 questions for the exam. It is just a waste of my time and I did not learn anything from classes like that. No one memorises the derivative of a formula using matrices and it has zero application in real engineering job. 50% of the profs speak English at less than B2 level but this school would require you to pass the B2 exam. I am 100% certain that most lecturers here would fail the English proficiency test. This review is. coming from a native English speaker. Oh the ISO also required me to submit my English language proficiency although English is an official language in my country. Some of the courses are very useful and has practicality for jobs in real life especially the programming related courses. It’s not just abiut studying the theory brhind computer science but the professors also teach you real life applications. Unfortunately, that is not the case for some of the engineering courses since the exams are based on memorising slides. So far I am in my second semester and there was only one electrical engineering course that lets you bring any textbook you want to the final exam because the professor made it impossible to pass unless if you know what’s going on with the exam. The International Student Office is horrible and they should be ashamed. It took them 3 months to verify my tuition payment and I could not apply for VISA because I did not have time for it. Thankfully I can enter the schengen area without VISA and I applied for residence permit.
