My experience studying economics in Lodz has been overall very positive. The curriculum is highly comprehensive, offering a solid foundation in micro- and macroeconomics, finance, and data analysis.One of the biggest advantages is the faculty. Most of the professors are true experts in their fields, always approachable and supportive, especially during seminar classes. Additionally, student life in Lodz is vibrant, and the campus boasts great infrastructure with easy access to the rest of the city.The only downside was the heavy emphasis on theoretical knowledge over practical, hands-on experience. I would have appreciated more real-world case studies and workshops focusing on modern software used in the corporate world today. Nevertheless, the university provides excellent growth opportunities through student science clubs, and I would definitely recommend this programme to anyone looking to build a career in business or finance.
