My overall university life is quite unique if you’d ask me. I attended my entire first year online due to COVID-19 restrictions and it couldn’t have been more normal. The lecturers maintained a friendly yet professional setting. Students participated regularly; however, participation increased with the physical commencement of classes. I have now been attending classes offline for about two months and I must say I’ve had a completely different experience than the one online. Most of the lecturers are very willing to hear student’s opinions and ensure that we are familiarising ourselves with the information. There are a lot of activities and clubs to join; some more unnecessary than others, but everyone gets to find something they fit into. The schedule is not the best when it comes to managing time if you have a job that requires a certain amount of hours. Classes can end anywhere from 5-7:55 pm, which seems quite inconsiderate as we are expected to gain some working experience during this time of our lives for future requirements. Nonetheless, I have been making the best of my time here and see great memories to be made in the future ahead of me. I would recommend Lazarski to anyone willing to put in the effort.
